ATLANTA (AP) - Three Florida siblings involved in a cross-country crime spree are appealing their convictions in the robbery of a south Georgia bank.

Ryan Dougherty, Lee Grace Dougherty and Dylan Dougherty Stanley last month pleaded guilty before a federal judge in Valdosta. Their spree began in Florida and ended in a shootout in Colorado.

U.S. District Judge Hugh Lawson went beyond normal guidelines and sentenced them each to 35 years and 8 months. Before their sentencing, Lawson said their plea deals were agreements only with prosecutors.

All three have filed notice to appeal their convictions to the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.

Stanley's lawyer declined to comment Wednesday. Lawyers for the others didn't immediately return messages.

The three have pleaded guilty to charges in Colorado and still face charges in Florida.
