UNDATED, Ca. (96.5 FM) -- A California man is behind bars, after deputies say he pulled a gun on a girl selling cookies door-to-door, Sunday morning.
According to investigators, the little girl, whose identity and age have not been released, was selling cookies in a neighborhood in Temecula. She knocked on James Dodrill's door, on Strawberry Tree Lane, just before noon. The 59-year-old reportedly opened the door and pointed a gun at her.
"It's a strange case," said Deputy Alberto Martinez. "Luckily the dad was there and called police and we were able to arrest him."
Riverside County deputies arrested Dodrill and seized a weapon as evidence. Dodrill now faces assault with a deadly weapon charges. He's being held on $25,000 bond. -
