SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. -- It looks as though George Zimmerman has turned to painting, and is auctioning original artwork on eBay.

A page on the online auction site went up around 1 p.m. Monday offering hand-painted art said to be by Zimmerman.

The page contains a message from Zimmerman, and it has been reported that his brother confirmed that the auction is authentic.

"My art work allows me to reflect, providing a therapeutic outlet and allows me to remain indoors," a quote attributed to Zimmerman says on the site.

The starting bid was 99 cents, but by 10 p.m. Monday nearly 100 bids had been placed and the price was around $100,000.

There was no way to tell who was bidding on the artwork.

You sound petty and jealous azcm1...If I were able, I would buy every painting I could from him. You thug lovers just hate loosing don't you? Keep on painting George, start your own gallery, since 'idiots' have made keeping a job or normal life impossible for you now, at least you will have some money coming in.

Really? Is this news? This guy is not worthy of any news anymore. Who really cares if he's selling art work or not? With his track record since his aquital he is starving for attention and you media folk keep letting him have it.
