DACULA, Ga. -- Ten Dacula High School students are facing disciplinary action after obtaining pot brownies at school.

School officials said last week an 11th-grade student brought brownies laced with marijuana to school and gave them to nine other students. Officials said the students knew the brownies were laced with drugs.

“There’s no second chances with drugs in my house, so, no, I think they should be clamping down hard on that,” parent Robb Hutt said.

Roman Schnaak, who graduated from Dacula High School last year, told Channel 2’s Eric Philips the brownies were the talk of the school.

“They all think it’s hilarious, quite frankly,” Schnaak said.

He said he saw social media being used to help spread the word.

“I heard about it via Twitter and Instagram. People were posting it quite frequently, and it was actually trending on Twitter,” Schnaak said.

The school has not said what specific disciplinary action will be taken against the students involved.
