A Tampa-area man Googled "How to rob a bank" before actually going out and robbing a bank, the Tampa Bay Times reported. 

The newspaper said that William Johnson, 26, was in the Pinellas County Jail on a $100,000 bond.

Johnson reportedly stole money from the Achieva Credit Union when he approached a teller, said he had a gun and left with cash.

Johnson told police that he needed money and used the money on bills, rent payments and a drugs, the newspaper said.

He was quickly tracked down to a Florida hotel and arrested, the newspaper said.
