Washington state authorities are asking the public to report any packages found in a Peshastin Creek after a Postal Express truck sent them into the water after a crash.
KIRO7 News reported that at around 8:30 a.m. Saturday the truck crashed about six miles from Leavenworth on U.S. 97.
The Washington State Patrol wants any packages found along Peshastin Creek downstream to the Wenatchee River reported.
According to Washington State Patrol, most of the packages are harmless medical supplies, but some of the packages could pose a risk if unsealed.
As water levels recede, more packages could become exposed.
