MARION COUNTY, Fla. (WFTV) -- The body of a man who went diving at the Ocala National Forest has been recovered.

Jason Yeh was reported missing Friday afternoon. His body was found Saturday morning by members of the Marion County Sheriff's Office Underwater Recovery Team.

The 23-year-old from Altamonte Springs had gone diving in Silver Glen Springs. His body was found in an area with limited visibility in a cavern.

The Ocala Star Banner reports that Yeh was with his girlfriend at the time of the dive. She called 911 after not seeing him for some time in the water.

His parents were at the springs on Saturday morning during the search.

Common sense diving in unfamiliar places: Dive in pairs and keep in sight of each other; Use an anchor and line when exploring caves/caverns to ensure finding your way back out; Take an underwater spotlight when diving into caverns. If you are NOT prepared, don't dive there. Diving is fun, safe, and enjoyable if you are smart. Don't take chances or risks you are not prepared to give your life for. Restricting areas from divers is pure ignorance. If you don't dive, don't comment on the poor choice an inexperienced diver makes. Driving a car is, in itself is dangerous. Texting or using a cell phone while driving is stupid. Does 'nativejax' want everyone to stop driving because they MIGHT text, use a cell phone, speed, or do something else which might kill themselves or someone else? I think not.

Certainly sounds like it went horribly wrong if she lost track of him. She did the right thing or she would be dead too. R.I.P.

Those caverns are dangerous and NO ONE should be diving there with out an experienced guide. So sad.
