Busy Orlando city street to close for several days
ORLANDO, Fla. (WFTV) -- A busy downtown Orlando street is going to be shut down for several days to allow for construction work.
Orlando city officials said Rosalind Avenue is going to be closed between Anderson and South streets beginning at 10 p.m. Wednesday. The street is scheduled to remain closed until Feb. 22.
The city said they are closing the street to replace the asphalt surface with a steel reinforced concrete surface. They work is being done to accommodate some of the tractor-trailer trucks that will be using the loading docks of the new Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts.
