CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. -- The Coast Guard suspended its search Friday for a 59-year-old man who disappeared near Cape Canaveral on Wednesday.
Patrick Cornelius of Delaware contacted the Coast Guard Sector Jacksonville at 8 a.m. on Wednesday to say he was having chest pains and tingling in his left arm.
The Coast Guard searched 38 hours, covering approximately 7,710 square miles.
When Coast Guard crews found his boat, Cornelius was not on board.
