Cops: Woman brain dead after being shot in head by boyfriend
ORLANDO, Fla. -- A man accused of shooting his girlfriend in her apartment will face a judge Monday.
Police said 29-year-old Kim Moore was shot in the head at the Bordeaux apartments on Mercy Drive Sunday morning.
Moore's boyfriend, Reginald Greenwich, was arrested on charges of first-degree murder, domestic violence and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Neighbors said they were worried about the victim's young daughter, who was in the apartment during the shooting.
"Now she's got to grow up and really think about this. She's seen all this. It's going to be a nightmare for her," said a neighbor.
Doctors declared Moore brain dead Sunday night.
Police said the gun was recovered.
