ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- Home surveillance video could be the key that helps solve a violent home invasion robbery in Orange County.
Six men, all armed with guns, kicked in the front door of a home on Lavender Court, near the intersection of Lake Underhill and Goldenrod roads and tied up a family of four, robbed them at gunpoint and got violent with a woman.
"They did pistol-whip her on the side of the head, she was cooperative, they still hit her on the side of the head," Sgt. P. Parks Duncan with the Orange County Sheriff's Office said.
Video shows two men scoping out the back of the home, but none of them acting as if they're in a hurry.
Orange County detectives said the mother, father and their two adult children were targeted by the men.
They were in the home for about an hour, and ransacked the place before they found what they were looking for.
Investigators won't say what was taken from the home.
Neighbors were surprised to find out about the attack after several of them say they didn't even realize a crime was happening.
"Didn't hear anything and I was here that hour you mentioned to me. I was here," neighbor Paul Elgin said.
Investigators are checking out some leads and said they do have suspects in mind but no arrests have been made.
"We think we're going to be comfortable bringing these people to justice here pretty soon," Duncan said.
