FHP: Driver flees on foot after crashing into 6

LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. (AP) - Authorities in southwest Florida are looking for a man who allegedly drove into six pedestrians leaving a home early Monday.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, the group was leaving a Lehigh Acres home when a car plowed into them. Authorities say the driver stopped, exited the vehicle and fled the scene on foot.

Three of the pedestrians were treated at the scene for minor injuries. Three others are hospitalized in serious condition.

FHP says two of the hospitalized pedestrians are 16 years old. The others are in their late teens and early 20s.
