Florida corrections bus driver gets job back after a booze brawl with a fellow officer
ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- A Florida corrections bus driver got his job back after being fired for a brawl with a fellow officer in 2013.
It was argued that he should have never been fired in the first place and he was reinstated in late January.
Cpl. Michael Dean was a lieutenant before the charter bus fight and Dean returned to work as a corporal, a two-step demotion, officials said.
Surveillance video of the fight on the bus was released shortly after and showed Dean punching and threatening Sgt. Donald Casey, who was also fired, during an argument.
The fight got so out of control that the bus driver had to pull over on Interstate 95.
Casey is still fighting to get his job back as well.
