BRUNSWICK, GA.-- It's a drug that police say is sweeping Glynn County. A drug that's responsible for landing eight people in the hospital.

"I heard it makes your spinal cord bleed and pokes holes in your brain," Trenton Robertson said.

Robertson has friends who've tried synthetic drugs. He says the effects are startling.

"It gives you a more intense high. I heard it gives you more like a crack high. My friend had a seizure from K2, it's pretty dangerous stuff," he continued.

Police say the synthetic narcotic is very similar to bath salts and is laced with who knows what. It's being produced in Colorado, yet sold around the country as incense.

"This stuff's not good. It's bad. And it's not new. It's just our first time we've had so many people who've had a bad reaction to a particular compound," Chief Matt Doering said.

The latest outbreak started last night. Two people were having severe reactions to the drug -- and at some point, reportedly acting violent. Another call came in a few hours after that -- this time involving five people, including a 16-year-old girl. The caller said the people were having convulsions and experiencing severe vomiting. The last call came in this morning. Same symptoms. Same drug inhaled.

The Glynn County Police Department says they removed the product from Mary Jane Emporium, seized several other items and brought the owner in for questioning. We went in to ask some questions of our own, but the employee declined to comment.

Doering says the tricky part is, some incense is legal, so it's hard to differentiate. Legal or not, he encourages everyone to stay away from Crazy Clown.

Robertson says you don't have to tell him twice.

"I'm an athlete, so I don't do any of that stuff."

Glynn County Police Department is expecting to get lab results back Monday. If "Crazy Clown" does turn out to be illegal anyone caught with it will be charged with Possession of Schedule 1 Narcotic.

How can these places be legal? A 16 year old girl? Parents can't spank their kids legally anymore, but are still responsible for what they do away from home. Places like this can operate, but adults are not allowed to be stupid and consenting? F'd up!

Just stupid, just plain stupid. Hope they are all okay and stop doing drugs...Life is too short as it is.

With all that we have here in America, people still seek "highs" by any means possible. Crazy!
