SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. (WFTV) -- Members of the public who want to attend George Zimmerman's trial will have to sign up for a lottery.

There are only 24 seats available to the general public.

The Court will accept applications at the Seminole County Supervisor of Elections Office in Sanford, Monday through Friday, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
Applicants must submit their name in person one day before the court date they'd like to attend.

Names will be drawn randomly, and those selected will be notified by phone with instructions on where to pick up their visitor’s pass.

The first drawing will occur Friday, June 7th, for the first day of jury selection on June 10.
