Man flown to Palm Beach International Airport after shark bite in Bahamas

PALM BEACH, Fla. (PBP) -- A man reportedly bitten by a shark in the Bahamas was flown into Palm Beach International Airport late Sunday afternoon for medical treatment.

Palm Beach County Fire Rescue said they transported an adult male to St. Mary’s Hospital, but had little other information on the victim or the attack.

Neither the man nor his home country has been identified.
