More than 100 marijuana plants found in central Florida home
GROVELAND, Fla. -- Police said more than 100 marijuana plants were found growing in a Groveland home on Sunday.
Officials said a patrol officer was conducting a well-being check after noticing an open garage door at a home on the 1100 block Singleton Circle.
The officer found dozens of marijuana plants and several lights fixtures at the home. Police said the home is currently being rented and the tenant was nowhere to be found.
According to officials, the home was being used solely as a grow house and was not livable.
