New bill could speed up executions in Florida

MIAMI, Fla. (AP) -- Two exonerated former death row inmates are urging Gov. Rick Scott to veto legislation that would accelerate the state's capital punishment process. The system has been criticized for allowing some condemned inmates to languish for decades on death row.

ITS ABOUT TIME...PASS THIS ASAP SCOTT, WE NEED TO RID THE SYSTEM AND SOCIETY OF THE 'MURDERERS AND RAPIST' THAT LIVE OFF THE TAXES OF GOOD PEOPLES HARD WORK AND SACRIFICES. AND let pot smokers and mentally ill people who 'abuse' themselves with drugs and alcohol out with FORCED MANDATORY mental help.
