APOPKA. Fla. (WFTV) -- Two robbers remain at large after attacking a customer and employees at a pawn shop during a robbery Thursday, authorities said.
Police said at the men who robbed the Value Pawn near Piedmont Wekiva Road and State Road 436 were armed with handguns.
Police said the men in ski masks smashed a jewelry case, and then held up both employees and customers and stole their wallets and cellphones.
Eyewitness News obtained surveillance video of two men who attacked employees and beat up a customer with a hammer at the Apopka pawn shop.
Apopka police said those men are still on the loose.
The ordeal shook up employees inside neighboring businesses.
"We were just nervous that somebody was on the loose and they were going to hide in our office; so we kind of locked the door," said resident Donna Sussan.
Five to 10 minutes later, police said an officer noticed a vehicle matching the description of one seen leaving the scene of the robbery.
Officer Ed Chittenden with Apopka police said the officers got behind the car to try to make a traffic stop.
"The car took off at a high rate of speed," Cittenden said.
Police said the officer saw the vehicle's occupants throw guns out a window.
According to police, the officer performed a PIT maneuver with his vehicle, forcing the subjects' vehicle from the road.
Apopka police had originally arrested Antonio Culver, Quinton Chambers, Terry Roberts and Antonio Robinson Thursday, but were unable to connect them to the robbery.
