GLYNN COUNTY, Ga. -- A new report shows police found a gun holster and ammo near the body of Glynn County Commissioner Tom Sublett.

Authorities found Sublett bound and shot at the St. Simons Island Boating & Fishing Club last month.

Police itemized all the things they found in Sublett's car.

They include:
  • Uncle Mike's Holster
  • Smith & Wesson magazine loaded with 9 mm rounds
  • .38 special rounds in a plastic bag
  • Ammo box with .38 special rounds and .357 magnum rounds=18 total rounds
  • Black ziptie straps

Police also found two empty prescription bottles, one had the label removed.

The second bottle was for a prescription for Dextroamphet/Amphet salts, 20 mg.

We checked with local hospitals who say Dextroamphet is normally used to treat narcolepsy or Attention Deficit Disorder, according to indicators with the Food & Drug Administration.

The list of evidence also includes a number of videos from the Parker family, which is where Sublett spent his final night at a party with friends.

There are also notations about all the DNA swabs taken from the inside and outside of Sublett's car, and boat ramp docks.

The coroner ruled he died from drowning with a gunshot wound to the head, but whether his death is the result of suicide or homicide has yet to be determined.

Divers are set to return this week to look for more evidence.
