The news is portraying the guy in jail as being gulity in the murder of this student. Yet I remeber case where a guy lawyered up was accussed of being responsible for a missing fiancee. Then few weeks later she came forward and said she got cold feet. Would the news or police actually listen to what he has to say or just use everything against him in court and on air? The miranda warning parts of it no longer apply btw. If you speak to police and then try to restore your miranda rights once you see they are hostile it does not apply. Maybe the News should be focusing on things the Supreme Court is allowing now like narrowing miranda rights enabling search and seizsures without search warrants. Ignoring Constitituonal rights of some classes of citizens such as veterans.
