TALLAHASSE, Fla. (WFTV) -- Florida stores are one step closer to being allowed to host beer tastings.

A measure to allow tastings passed a state Senate committee Thursday.

But there is concern that beer tastings could lead to a party atmosphere.

Lawmakers are working to tighten up portions of the bill to prevent alcohol abuse, before the bill goes to the Senate.

With our economy the way it is this is the only thing our senators are worrying about. I have a better idea, have these companies sell there beers to the bar owners and if the beer don't sell the companies will have there answer.
