PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. (AP) - Two St. Lucie County teens have been arrested for a shoplifting scheme in which one of them allegedly posed as a police officer.

Port St. Lucie police say a 14-year-old stole some collectible cards from a Wal-Mart store early Sunday. Then, his 17-year-old friend swooped in, showing a badge and putting him in handcuffs.

A suspicious store employee dialed police, who later found the teens and arrested them.

Both were charged with shoplifting and resisting arrest. The older boy was also charged with impersonating a police officer.
