ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Divers are expected to resume their search Sunday morning for a woman who fell into Lake Pickett after the canoe she was in a capsized Saturday.

Orange County Fire Rescue crews responded to the lake around 5 p.m., which is off Lake Pickett Road in east Orange County.

An Orange County Sheriff's spokesperson says minutes earlier, someone standing on shore heard people out on the lake screaming for help.

That witness dialed 9-1-1.

A short time later, fire officials rescued two men from the lake. But search crews were unable to locate a third person, an adult female, who also fell into the water.

After combing Lake Pickett for several hours Saturday, dive teams suspended their search for that woman.

Officials have not released her name.
