ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — The Orange County Sheriff's Office said it is concerned about video-recorded fights involving mostly middle school students.
WFTV obtained the videos, which show girls and boys being injured during the fights. Authorities said the students are fighting before and after school.
Deputies said they have not received calls from parents, residents or employees of the apartment complexes where the fights have taken place.
Authorities said the boys and girls in the videos are going home battered and bruised, but parents do not contact them.
Deputies said that in one video, a young girl was knocked unconscious.
The sheriff's office said it has attempted to investigate the incidents, but have been unable to make much progress without the help of the community.
