WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (PBP) -- Instead of flowers and chocolates like many women receive for Valentine’s Day, a West Palm Beach man brought a crack pipe and knives to two different women’s homes this week.

Daryl Jackson, 39, faces charges of aggravated assault, aggravated stalking and possession of drug paraphernalia.

On Monday, West Palm Beach Police officers were called out to a domestic disturbance and found Jackson banging on his ex-girlfriend’s door.

“That (expletive) has my $10!” he told officers.

When asked for identification, he reached into his pocket and out fell a glass pipe to the ground.

“Officer, it’s just a crack pipe,” he said, according to the report.

Three days later, he came to a co-worker’s house with steak knives trying to get her to talk to him, according to police. The woman drove away and found an officer. She told officers even though they have never been involved in a romantic relationship, this wasn’t the first time he’s been at her house or harassed her.

After officers arrested him, he said he did go to her house with knives. But, he explained, he did it because he loves her and just wanted to talk to her.
