Woman riding scooter hit by car
Deltona, Fla.-- A local woman is in the hospital after an early morning crash on US 1.
Police tell us the young woman was riding her scooter along US 1 south near Deltona just after 3:30 a.m Saturday morning when she was hit by a car. Rescue crews performed CPR on her at the scene. She was taken to UF and Shands Jacksonville with serious injuries.
