LITTLE ROCK, AR - Police have released the name of a woman whose body was found at the scene of a fire Thursday morning.

The body of Amy May Hughett, 31, was found in a pile of burning tires behind a vacant business at 5115 Young Road on the city's southwest side.

Police say they have not yet established a motive or suspect in Hughett's death.

Original story (June 28):
LITTLE ROCK, AR - The Little Rock Police Department (LRPD) is investigating after a body is found at the scene of a fire.

Fire department crews were called to a structure fire at 5115 Young Road around 6:45 a.m. today.

When they arrived, tires behind a vacant business were burning.

Officials say that after the fire was contained, the victim's body was found inside the burned pile of tires.

The LRPD describes the victim as an unidentified white female and says the coroner was called out to examine the body for signs of additional trauma. 

Police also say no suspects have been developed and no connection has been made to any other fires in the city.
