GRAY COUNTY, Kansas — Five cars of an Amtrak passenger train derailed early Monday in Gray County, Kansas, near Dodge City, KSN reports.
According to KSN, the cars were on their side and multiple injuries were reported. None of the injuries were life-threatening, Amtrak said in a statement.
The train, which was traveling from Los Angeles to Chicago, was carrying an estimated 128 passengers and 14 crew members, Amtrak said.
The investigation is ongoing.
