Two young adult brothers playing "Pokemon Go" found a loaded handgun in a Clark County, Washington, field.

They were tracking down a Pokemon when they came across the firearm, lying in a field.

The brothers did not touch the gun, called 911 and waited for the arrival of a Clark County Sheriff’s deputy.

The loaded gun, a Smith and Wesson Model 16-4 .32 Magnum, was weathered and rusted, but still looked capable of firing rounds, police said.

Police said the gun’s serial number did not show up in law enforcement’s lost or stolen data base.

The brothers were thanked by officers.

“It might’ve led to a tragic incident, if it weren't for the Pokémon searchers,” Deputy Brian Wade said.
