On Aug. 1, Jeanie Lynn Bowman appeared at the West Pasco Judicial Center and asked a judge to lift a no-contact order in a battery case where she was a victim, the newspaper reported. When the judge denied her request, Bowman, 33, posted on Facebook and wrote that she was angry.

"If anyone needs me, I’ll be at the top of a clocktower eliminating problems,” the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office said of Bowman’s post, which was apparently deleted.

Bowman updated her post several hours later, writing that she was "Searching for one within sniping range of the courthouse, open to suggestions." Deputies said she later made reference to drinking herself to death, the Times reported.

"Well it’s that or homicide, so yeah ... cheers," deputies said Bowman wrote.

Deputies said they reviewed telephone calls between Bowman and Stephen Hunt, 35, a Pasco County jail inmate who was convicted in the case involving the no-contact order. Bowman allegedly admitted writing the Facebook posts, adding that she knew where the judge's daughter played softball, the Times reported.

Bowman apologized to deputies for her comments. She was arrested and posted a $10,000 bond later Thursday, the newspaper reported.
