Dog found in South Carolina with duct tape on head

DARLINGTON, S.C. — South Carolina authorities are searching for those responsible for duct taping a dog’s mouth shut.

The Darlington County Sheriff's Office posted photos on its Facebook page asking for the publics' help.

Someone called in to say a dog was found walking around in Darlington, South Carolina, with tape on its head and face.

Deputies were able to catch the dog and remove the tape safely.

The dog was taken to a nearby animal shelter for care and treatment.

Darlington is about 95 miles southeast of Charlotte, North Carolina.
