Photos: Wind blows snow over front door in North Dakota

GLENBURN, N.D. — Strong winds and heavy snow swept through North Dakota catching a pair of Glenburn residents by surprise.

Natasha Harvey and Lauren Otradovec are roommates. They opened their door Tuesday to a wall of snow over 7 feet tall. Winds around 30-40 mph pushed snow in front of their door creating a barrier to the outside. The wind-packed snow even imprinted the numbers and design from the front door.

"We shoveled our side door, and within an hour, all the snow had blown back in. We're at the same point today," Harvey told ABC News.

Video captured her friend climbing out after digging through the wall of snow.

The forecast for Glenburn doesn't call for more snow until Saturday, but the temperature will remain in the single digits with gusts up to 25 mph.
