PINECREST, Fla. — Two Florida men were arrested earlier this month after police said they burglarized a home in Pinecrest, but they alerted authorities when they posted a video of themselves bragging about the heist on Facebook.

Raderius Glenn Collins, 18, and Marcus Terrell Parker, 27, were two of three suspects in a burglary of a Pinecrest-area house on May 27 where they stole a safe with half a million worth of jewelry inside, the Miami Herald reports. Police said the group split up the goods and got $1,300 a piece at a fence in a nearby mall.

Riding high after the steal, Collins posted a video to his Facebook page where he and the third suspect in the burglary flashed $100 bills and said "we got a safe" into the camera, NBC Miami reports. He also ranted about selling $400,000 worth of jewelry for $3,900 on the video, which was picked up by authorities, the Miami Herald reports.

NBC Miami added that the safe contained more than $500,000 worth of jewelry with $10,000 in additional pieces that were picked up by the burglars from another home. The Herald reports some of the jewelry was picked up from the front at the mall while the rest was found near Collins’ home in the safe.

Collins and Parker were arrested on charges of burglary, grand theft, criminal mischief, and dealing in stolen property with the former pleading not guilty in court. Police said the third suspect is still at large.
