But one prank almost put an end to the 20-year-old man's career.

He apparently picked the wrong person to jump in front of, dressed as a clown.

Instead of scaring the apparent victim, the man pulled out a gun, even after he was told that it was a prank, and he pistol-whipped Mohammad, KCRA reported.

In the video, which includes explicit language, Mohammad stumbles before running away. The cameraman also ran away.

"Lesson learned is, people don't play with the clown stuff," Mohammad said. "Like, people really will shoot anybody."

Mohammad said he will continue pulling pranks, but not dressed as a clown.

Neither he nor his cameraman filed a complaint with police.
