Glenn Jacobs, the Knox County mayor who wrestles professionally as Kane in World Wrestling Entertainment events, will participate in Saudi Arabia's Crown Jewel event on Nov. 2, the Knoxville News Sentinel reported.

On its website, the WWE said Jacobs would team with The Undertaker against Triple H and Shawn Michaels at King Saud University Stadium in Riyadh.

Jacobs traveled to Melbourne, Australia, last weekend for a WWE event and was in Seattle on Oct. 1 for another wrestling card.

Over the past few weeks, Jacobs' spokesman, Rob Link, would not confirm a visit to Saudi Arabia, the News Sentinel reported.

Jacobs won the mayoral race in August. Before he was elected, Jacobs said he would focus on running Knox County, but did not rule out special appearances with the WWE, the newspaper reported.

The Saudi Arabia event will be streamed live on the WWE Network and be available on pay-per-view outside of the Middle East, according to a news release.
