BEIRUT (AP) - Syria's state-run media say twin car bombings in a Damascus suburb have killed 34 people.

The state SANA news agency says two cars packed with explosives detonated on Wednesday morning in the capital's eastern Jaramana suburb.

The district is mostly loyal to President Bashar Assad and is populated mostly by Christians and Druse, a minority sect.
