Oakland, CA (Sports Network) - The Boston Red Sox sent outfielder Jackie Bradley, Jr. to Triple-A Pawtucket Sunday and recalled pitcher Drake Britton from the PawSox.

Bradley has hit just .155 in three separate stints in the majors this season, including a 1-for-6 performance over four games since being recalled from Pawtucket earlier in the week.

Britton will see his first career call-up to the big leagues.

The 24-year-old went 7-6 with a 3.51 earned run average in 17 games (16 starts) with Double-A Portland, earning an Eastern League All-Star nod for his effort. He dropped his lone start at Triple-A, allowing five earned runs in 5 1/3 innings.
