Washington, DC (Sports Network) - The Washington Nationals are expected to have Bryce Harper back in the lineup on Monday after losing the young outfielder to the 15-day disabled list just over a month ago.

The Nationals activated Harper in time for their evening contest with the Milwaukee Brewers. They've been without the 20-year-old since May 26, and he landed on the DL with knee bursitis a few days later.

Harper attempted to play through the pain after originally sustaining the injury on May 13, when he slammed into the wall at Dodger Stadium. He appeared in nine of the Nationals' next 12 games, but then sat out five in a row before heading to the disabled list.

The Nationals sorely missed Harper's offensive production during his time away and went just 13-13 while he was on the DL. They currently rank amongst the three worst teams in the majors in runs scored, batting average and on-base percentage.

Harper has posted a .287 batting average with 12 homers and 23 RBI in the 44 games he has played in this season.
