Washington, DC (Sports Network) - The Washington Nationals placed catcher Wilson Ramos on the 15-day disabled list on Sunday.
Ramos suffered a left hamstring strain while trying to beat out a throw to first base in the eighth inning of Saturday's 3-1 loss to the Atlanta Braves.
The 25-year-old Ramos, who likely will miss at least a couple of weeks, is hitting .300 with two home runs and three RBI in six games this season.
The Nationals recalled catcher Jhonatan Solano from Triple-A Syracuse to fill the roster spot. He hit .314 with two homers and six RBI in 12 games for Washington last season.
