Milwaukee, WI (SportsNetwork.com) - Milwaukee Bucks forward Ekpe Udoh is expected to miss the next four-to-six weeks after undergoing successful surgery Friday to alleviate pain in his right knee.

The procedure was performed by Bucks orthopaedist Dr. Michael Gordon in Milwaukee.

Udoh appeared in 76 games with nine starts for the Bucks last season and averaged 4.3 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per contest.

Selected sixth overall by Golden State in the 2010 NBA Draft, Udoh owns career averages of 4.6 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.4 blocks in 195 games with 38 starts over three seasons with the Warriors and Bucks.

Milwaukee opens its regular season on Oct. 30 against the Knicks in New York.
