Guyatt still leads by 2 in Australia

Melbourne, Australia (Sports Network) - Matthew Guyatt posted a 3-under 69 on Friday to maintain a 2-stroke lead after two rounds of the Talisker Masters.

Guyatt finished two rounds at 10-under-par 134.

Michael Hendry also shot 69 in the second round to move into second place at minus-8. World No. 5 Adam Scott managed a 2-under 70 and dipped from a share of second into third place at 7-under-par 137 at Kingston Heath.

Guyatt carded back-to-back birdies from the third. He also birdied the seventh and ninth to make the turn at 11-under.

The Australian faltered to a double-bogey at the 12th, but came right back with a birdie on No. 13. Guyatt tripped to a bogey on the par-5 14th. After a pair of pars, he birdied the 17th to get back to minus-10.

World No. 16 Ian Poulter carded an even-par 72 to dip two spots into a share of fourth at 5-under 139. He was joined there Craig Hancock (71).

The cut line fell at 5-over 149. Graeme McDowell stumbled to a 5-over 77, but made the cut on the number, as did Robert Allenby (76) and Peter Senior (74).
