Fujikawaguchiko, Japan (Sports Network) - Hideki Matsuyama birdied the second playoff hole on Sunday to win the Fujisankei Classic.

Matsuyama began the final round with a 4-stroke lead, but bogeyed the last to drop into a tie with Hideto Tanihara and Sung-Joon Park at 9-under-par 275.

After all three players made par on the first playoff hole, Matsuyama birdied the second, and Tanihara and Park couldn't match him.

This marks the fourth japan Golf Tour victory for Matsuyama, who shot 73 in the final round.

Tanihara and Park both shot 69, while Hyung-Joon Lee and Shingo Katayama carded matching 70s to tie for fourth place at 8-under 276.
