A news conference Saturday morning detailed the charges against Sherra Wright-Robinson, the ex-wife of slain NBA star Lorenzen Wright.

She was indicted on charges of conspiracy to commit murder, criminal attempted first degree murder, and first degree murder in the death of Lorenzen Wright.

he news conference revealed the number of details regarding the charges against her, but the biggest bombshell came in its closing moments.

Memphis Police Director Michael Rallings answered "yes" when asked if Sherra Wright and Billy Turner tried to kill Lorenzen Wright in the past.

Rallings opened his news conference with a statement about the Sherra Wright's arrest.

"Another piece of the puzzle is solved," he said.

MPD confirmed with what FOX13 reported Friday night that Sherra Wright was arrested in her Riverside, California home Friday night. She was booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center in Riverside.

he was arrested by the U.S. Marshals, according to MPD.

The head of the Multi-Agency Gang Unit said in the news conference that "multiple members came to him in early July 2016 with info." They began to "follow the evidence" and it lead to Friday with the arrest of Sherra Wright-Robinson.

They are calling the case “Operation Rebound.”

Multiple people told the Multi-Agency Gang Unit that the murder weapon was in a North Mississippi lake. With that information in hand, MPD teamed up with an FBI recovery team, searched the lake, and found the gun.

It is unclear  when Wright-Robinson will be extradited from California to Memphis.
