PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla.--Timing in life is everything. You have to pick your spots to make your moments. Nobody understands that better than Vijay Singh. The former PLAYERS Champion didn't win a major until he turned 40. Singh picked this week to sue the PGA Tour for what he calls, "public ridicule and humiliation for months".

Singh admitted to using deer antler spray in an article in Sports Illustrated. That substance was recently removed from the list of banned substances by WADA, the World Anti-Doping Agency, in April. That was months after the tour announced a suspension that Singh appealed. The suspension was later dropped. Singh contends that the tour should have investigated the substance before going public.

We caught up Vijay while he finished up his practice round, but he declined to talk about the issue. We have requested an interview with PGA Tour commissioner Tim Finchem and we are waiting to hear back. Mr. Finchem has issued a statement which we are also waiting on. Keep it here on for the latest on THE PLAYERS and Singh's lawsuit against the PGA Tour.
