JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Jaguars will not win any games because of their locker room, but they think they are NFL champs when it comes to their new digs in 2012.

"I've never seen anything like it before," said Paul Posluszny. "It has to be the best in the league."

The three month project cost three million dollars and for the players it will be worth every penny. The room is filled with 84 permanent lockers made out of a timber called Wenge. They were manufactured in Nebraska.

The plans for a new locker room started last November, even before Shad Khan bought the Jaguars. Khan didn't pinch a penny though in an effort to raise the standard and send a message to the NFL that the Jaguars will take care of their players.

Each locker has a ventilation system that helps dry their shoes and shoulder pads. The lockers come with LED lights that can change into eight different colors. For instance, if there is a "think pink" day in October on a Sunday, the Jaguars locker rooms will be lit with the color pink.

There are 20 televisions installed in the locker room including two 80" screens. There is WIFI, video game hookups, wireless printers, work stations and a sound system that belts out 41,000 watts.

Oh, then there is the spa. A European spa that includes two hot tubs with TV's and waterfalls hanging above them. There is a steam room, a sauna, and individual lavatories.

The equipment room has been updated as well and eventually there will be a phase two that will include an expanded players lounge.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Jacksonville Jaguars are reporting to camp today at Jags headquarters.

The story of the day is the absence of Maurice Jones-Drew and Justin Blackmon.

Jones-Drew reportedly will not be at the first practice on Friday, and Blackmon is still unsigned as the Jags first round draft pick.

As for the players who are here, Terrance Knighton, is most impressive. He's dropped over 20 pounds to get under 330 pounds and ready to play at his lowest weight he's been at in the NFL.

Knighton says his offseason eye injury is healing well and he plans to be ready to fully participate in camp. He has eight stitches left to be removed.

We'll be camping with the Jags all training camp and you can follow us on http://twitter.com/@actionsports360.

No MoJo, no gogo. RB hasa a short life span in this game and when you are on top you should be paid for such. People pay big bucks to watch MoJo run the ball,he sits,I sit at Ben hill griffin stadium, not everbank.kahn is a tight wad, after years of dealing with our company to by tix, kahn pulled the plug so no one from my work will be going, what a doofus.thought when Kahn bought Jags we would spend money and put a team with a threat on the field. now it looks like Kahn is on a power trip , so be it. Tired of living under the threat of the team moving so go ahead and move. My Gators will always be here, this year they will get my money and support.game is more pure, college players don't take plays off. looking forward to the season opener. GO GATORS SORRY JAGS, AGAIN STUCK WITH PISS POOR MANAGEMENT, THE NEW JERRY JONES.
