JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The debut of Dave's Dash was a rousing success.
The Dash Mobile logged 89.3 miles this evening with its first stop at First Coast High School.
The Buccaneers played in the state championship a year ago, and they struggled out of the gates early.
Terry Parker's Quantavious Head scored on the opening kickoff, but the Bucs were able to bounce back and win 34-12.
Then the Dash headed north on 95 to Camden County, always a great place to see a game.
The best part about Camden County is the great spread in the press box: a turkey sandwich was on the menu for yours truly tonight.
Oh, and by the way the Wildcats rolled over Ocala Vanguard 53-7.
