Gators lead Vanderbilt at the half on Senior Night
GAINESVILLE, Fla. - In a low scoring affair the Florida Gators lead Vanderbilt 24-14 at the half on senior night. Kenny Boynton, Erik Murphy and Mike Rosario look to finish out a perfect season at home while also clinching an outright SEC title for the Gators.
Local star Patric Young paced the Florida offense in the first 20 minutes with 10 points. The Providence grad was five for six from the field before the half. The Gators are shooting just 41.7% from the field but an outstanding defense including Will Yeguete and Casey Prather has held the Commodores to just five field goals.
