Gators ticket information for Sugar Bowl
GAINESVILLE, Fla. - The University of Florida football team has accepted an invitation to play Big East Champion Louisville (10-2) in the 2013 Allstate Sugar Bowl on Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013, at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, La. The game will be televised by ESPN at 8:30 p.m. The Gators (11-1) will be making their 22nd-straight bowl appearance, which ranks first in the SEC and second nationally. This will also be Florida's 19th January Bowl game since 1993, the highest total in the country, and will be the team's ninth appearance in the Sugar Bowl, which will be played for the 79th time.The Gator Ticket Office will begin taking ticket orders for the 2013 Allstate Sugar Bowl on Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, starting at 8:30 a.m. for all season-ticket holders and non-season-ticket holders. Any fan may request an UNLIMITED number of tickets.THE DEADLINE FOR ORDERING BOWL TICKETS IS 11:59 P.M., SATURDAY, DECEMBER 8, 2012. All orders MUST be received by the Ticket Office by this time.Season-ticket holders and non-season-ticket holders will "reserve" their tickets during this time and all orders will be "confirmed" by Monday, Dec. 10. The allotment of tickets that Florida will receive comes at various sales prices (seen below) and fans must determine which price point they would like to purchase.If a price point oversells, the Gator Booster Priority Point System will be used and possible reductions or re-assignments of seats into a lesser or greater dollar ticket section will occur. If any ticket orders cannot be filled, the possibility could exist that season-ticket holders and non-season-ticket holders would be refunded.
