Giants win big at home over Makos

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Jacksonville Giants hammered the Florida Makos on Friday night 174-87 downtown at the Veterans Memorial Arena.

Jermaine Bell led the way with 33 points and nine rebounds for the 19 and one Giants.  Anthony Lumpkin, an assistant coach, played as the Giants 13th man and scored 14 points in his first action since helping the Giants win an ABA Championship last year.

The Giants honored former player and coach Christian Laettner before the game with a championship ring.
 
The Giants return to the home court Saturday at noon against Memphis.
